Footwear Product Visualizations for Marketing eCommerce Sales Product Designers Brand Managers Retailers
From a single shoe sample we create reusable 3D assets, product shots, animations, AR try-ons, and interactive viewers for your eCommerce and marketing teams.
The Problems We Solve for Footwear Brands
Flat photos can’t show fit & detail
Mesh, tread, cushioning, and materials are hard to judge from standard studio shots. Leads to hesitation and returns.
Photography slows down launches
Shipping samples, booking studios, re‑shooting colorways → launches slip, and old content stays live too long.
Assets don’t travel across channels
eCom wants clean shots, marketing wants lifestyle, retail wants motion and AR – you end up recreating assets from scratch.
Inconsistent visuals across markets
Different regions create different visuals → brand feels fragmented.

What Our Clients Say
Ready to See Your Footwear Collection in 3D?
Frequently Asked Questions
What do you need from us to get started?
To kick off a footwear project we only need a few essentials:
- A list of models/SKUs you’d like us to work on (including colorways).
- Where the content will live – eCommerce (PDP, PLP), marketplaces, social, retail screens, AR/try-on, etc.
-
Any existing assets you have:
- 3D/CAD files (if available)
- Tech packs or line sheets
- Reference photography or samples from previous seasons
- Brand guidelines – logos, type, color profiles, visual style, and any campaign mood boards.
From there we’ll suggest the best package per model (Starter, Professional, Enterprise) and align on timelines. If you don’t have CAD data, we’ll simply ask you to ship physical samples to our studio so we can scan and build the 3D models from scratch.
Can you handle full collections and many SKUs?
Yes. Our pipeline is built for collections, not one-offs.
We typically:
- Create a master 3D model per silhouette (e.g. one core runner, one trail boot, one lifestyle sneaker).
- Then derive colorways and small variations (materials, trims, logos) from that master model.
- Process models in batches so your teams get a steady flow of assets instead of waiting for everything at once.
We work with footwear brands that launch dozens or hundreds of SKUs per season, so scaling is a normal part of our process. For larger collections you’ll get a dedicated producer, a clear production schedule, and shared trackers so you always know what’s in progress and what’s delivered.
How accurate are the 3D models vs the real shoe?
Our goal is to create a digital twin that’s accurate enough for eCommerce zoom, AR viewing, and high-end marketing.
We use:
- High-resolution scanning and/or CAD files as the base for geometry.
- Physically based materials (PBR) to capture leather, mesh, rubber, knit, reflective details, stitching and overlays.
- Color-calibrated references so the key colorways look correct on screen.
Before we finalize, we share preview renders for review and approval, and make adjustments based on your product and design teams’ feedback. For most clients, the result is a model that’s visually indistinguishable from the physical shoe in a typical eCommerce or campaign context.
How does pricing work for multiple colorways or slight model variations?
We structure pricing to reflect the real work involved:
The first colorway of a model includes:
- Full 3D modeling / scan & build
- Material setup
- Lighting and scene setup
Additional colorways of the same silhouette are priced lower, because we reuse the geometry and only adjust colors/materials and outputs.
For slight variations (e.g. different outsole, logo placement, small panel changes), we apply a reduced modeling fee instead of charging as a completely new shoe.
If you’re planning a full collection, we can also set up seasonal or collection-level pricing so you know exactly what your cost per model looks like ahead of time.
Which platforms do your 3D viewers and AR experiences support?
We deliver assets in standard real-time formats (for example GLB/GLTF and USDZ), which makes them compatible with most modern 3D viewers and WebAR solutions.
In practice, that means we can support:
- Shopify and WooCommerce setups (via existing 3D/AR apps or custom implementations).
- Custom or headless eCommerce platforms, integrating with your existing frontend.
- Mobile AR experiences for iOS and Android using standard file formats.
If you already have a preferred 3D viewer or AR provider, we’ll align with their tech requirements and deliver assets ready to plug into your current stack.
Can we reuse the assets for print and out-of-home (OOH)?
Yes. One of the biggest advantages of 3D is that a single master asset can feed all your channels, including print and OOH.
From the same 3D footwear model we can render:
- High-resolution stills for catalogs, lookbooks, in-store posters, and POS.
- Large-format images suitable for billboards, window displays, and other OOH placements.
- Variant crops and compositions for different aspect ratios and placements.
If you share your intended use (for example a 6-sheet poster vs. a social ad), we’ll render at the appropriate resolution and aspect ratio so your creative and print teams can drop assets straight into their layouts.
What about data security and unreleased collections?
We treat unreleased products and collections as confidential by default.
- We’re happy to work under your NDA or provide ours.
- Files are exchanged via secure transfer methods (no public links or open file shares).
- Access to your assets is restricted to the small production team actually working on your project.
We only show work publicly (in our portfolio or marketing) with your written approval, and always after launch.
If your brand has specific security or compliance requirements, we can adapt our workflow to match them and coordinate with your internal teams.
Can we start with a pilot project?
We actually recommend starting with a pilot.
A typical pilot might include:
- A small set of models (for example 3–5 key styles from an upcoming season).
- A mix of tiers (e.g. Starter for some SKUs, Professional or Enterprise for hero products).
- Deployment to one or two key channels (e.g. PDP + social, or PDP + 3D viewer).
This lets you validate:
- Visual quality and brand fit
- Internal workflow (how your teams brief, review, and approve)
- Impact on performance metrics (e.g. conversion rate, engagement, content production speed)
Once the pilot is live and you’re happy, we can extend the same pipeline to your broader collection.
Do you support virtual try-on tech we already use?
In most cases, yes.
We build your footwear models in real-time ready formats and can align them with the specifications of your current virtual try-on provider (for example, polycount, texture resolution, file types, rigging where applicable).
There are usually two options:
- We deliver assets tailored to your existing try-on solution, working directly with your vendor’s technical documentation.
- If you’re exploring virtual try-on for the first time, we can recommend partners and workflows that fit your use case (web-based, app-based, in-store, etc.) and prepare the assets accordingly.
Either way, the goal is that you own a reusable 3D footwear library that can power your PDPs, AR viewers, and virtual try-on experiences now and in the future, without recreating content every time you adopt new tech.
